Our Film Transfer Process

 

8MM AND SUPER 8 TELECINE MACHINES

 

Upon arrival of your film transfer project, each film reel is cleaned and old splices are repaired.

Our telecine machines are designed for the high quality transfer of 8mm and Super 8 film.

 They combine a projector, optical system and high quality video camera all in one compact unit.

 The picture quality is excellent with no trace of flicker.

  The running speed is crystal controlled to eliminate the unnatural speed-up of action.

 The film is converted to digital video and captured into Apple's Final Cut Pro editing software.

 Any blank spots or non-viewable parts of the film are removed.

 Some films require color correction, this can help bring the film back into color balance.

 Instrumental background music is added along with chapter markers.

 When the video editing process is completed the video is burned to a high quality DVD-R disc.

The disc is then printed with the project title and then packaged in a clear plastic D-shell DVD case.
